This 3″ wide tie down strap is fitted with wire double J hooks. This wire hook ratchet strap is made with quality materials like the zinc-plated ratchet and hooks that are corrosion resistant. The wire hooks on these 3″ cargo straps can easily hook into D-rings and other narrow anchor points. The strap itself is made of durable, weather-resistant polyester, and the webbing has the same break strength as our 4″ wide ratchet straps, while still offering you a smaller profile. Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): “When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation.”
