For applications where strength is needed, but little stretch, polyester diamond braid rope is an excellent choice. The braided construction resembles a diamond pattern and creates a surface that’s smooth to prevent unraveling and twisting when in use. it’s also slightly more flat than a typical braided rope making it ideal for a variety of uses, from safety guide ropes and antennae guidelines to tug and barge tow lines and sailboat rigging. Polyester is unaffected by water so it retains its strength even when wet, and resists mold, mildew and rot; it also offers superior resistance to heat and is great for outdoor use because it won’t yellow or weaken with extended exposure to sunlight.
