Airline track-style cargo track is an excellent method for creating tie-down anchors on a motorcycle trailer, or in an enclosed trailer or pickup truck bed. Manufactured in lightweight aluminum, L-track combines strength and a low profile. While more narrow than E-track tie-down rails, it is strong enough to secure motorcycles, ATVs, utility tractors, etc. The 24″ length accommodates both single stud fittings and double stud fittings so it’s easy to create a tie-down system customized to your needs.
L-Track Features
- The holes are 100 degrees countersunk
- Can be quickly secured with our 10-piece fastener pack
Our Aluminum L-Track rails are also available in powder-coat finishes. To shop by color, check out our L-Track Tie Down Rails page for available options. Additional length options are also available with cargo track sizes ranging from 6″-96″.

What’s the Load Rating on This L-Track?
Due to the many variables involved in installing L-track – the fasteners used, the mounting surface, etc. – we cannot provide a blanket working load limit. The track is designed to be at least as strong as any of the compatible straps and fittings we sell to use with it, but it is up to the installer to determine that the track is properly installed to provide sufficient strength. If you need assistance with this, consult your trailer manufacturer for installation suggestions. For more information, please refer to WSTDA T-5 section 3.4.
For more information on how to use and install L-track (including video demonstrations!), see our How to Use and Install L-Track and L-Track Systems page.
Please note: our L-track is designed for recreational and cargo control use; it is not certified for official wheelchair restraint use in buses, vans, and other transport vehicles.
