Our Grade 120 chain from pewag is 50% stronger than traditional grade 80 chain, but lighter in weight.
The unique square link design results in a larger contact between the bearing surfaces in the link, reducing surface pressure and wear. The updated profile also has up to 38% higher moment of resistance when compared to traditional round link chain. This means the chain can withstand bending forces better, an excellent feature for heavy duty applications. Offers a design factor of 6:1, compared to a 4:1 factor in lower grades of chain.
Finished in a blue powder coat for easy identification and corrosion protection. Embossed with 120 or 12 markings to indicate a Grade 120 alloy. Meets or exceeds the G100 NACM/ASTM-test requirements for lifting chains.
