These heavy-duty ratchet straps have 3″ width and 40′ length weather-resistant polyester webbing. This 3″ ratchet strap is fitted with flat black powder-coated hooks and a zinc-plated ratchet. The webbing has a defender on the slot opening to protect it from wear. This flat hook ratchet strap is available in multiple colors and lengths, and we also have other end fittings available. Ratchet Use Guidelines
According to the WSTDA (section 4.6.8): “When using web tie downs with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 wraps of webbing shall be wound on the winch or ratchet mandrel. Excessive wraps of webbing on the mandrel may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie down and may interfere with proper operation.”
