Durable, yet lightweight in tough aluminum, Merritt® headache rack is equipped with two locking chain racks and a full tray to keep chains secured. The Dyna-Light model is ideal for a conventional with sleeper, stubnose/cab over engine (COE) with sleeper or COE and conventional with sleeper and fairing extensions.
Also known as a Limited Security Rack (LSR) or a cab guard, it’s designed with Dyna-Tube extrusion for the very best combination of light weight and high strength and shaped with aerodynamic radius corners for improved fuel efficiency. The 5″ uprights means there’s less mounting space required, without reducing load resistance strength. The 4″ foot assembly increases clearance distance for improved durability and also makes it easier to mount. An offset design also accommodates newer-style exhaust systems better than traditional models.
