8′ Aluminum L-Track
Flanged L-track features a flanged-edge design that allows for recessed installation, eliminating abrupt edges on the surface. This flush-surface benefit makes it ideal for securing motorcycles, ATVs, garden tractors, utility carts, and other items where wheels are rolled over the track. Aluminum L-track, also known as logistic track or airline track is an excellent way to create strong and secure tie-down anchor points in your pickup truck, motorcycle trailer, van trailer, or enclosed trailer.
Airline-Style Track Construction
Our Flanged airline track is manufactured in a grade 6061-T6 aluminum to offer superior resistance to rust and corrosion. Pre-drilled holes (26 per track) that are 100 degrees countersunk make for easy installation (fasteners not included). This cargo track accepts both single stud fittings and double stud fittings, making it easy to create a tie-down system customized to suit your needs.
What’s the Load Rating on This L-Track?
Due to the many variables involved in installing L-track – the fasteners used, the mounting surface, etc. – we cannot provide a blanket working load limit. The track is designed to be at least as strong as any of the compatible straps and fittings we sell to use with it, but it is up to the installer to determine that the track is properly installed to provide sufficient strength. If you need assistance with this, consult your trailer manufacturer for installation suggestions. For more information, please refer to WSTDA T-5 section 3.4.
Also available in a 12-inch Flanged Airline-Style Track option. Need fasteners to install your new L-track? Check out our Airline-Style Track Fastener Pack.
