Heavy duty construction is designed for use with Extra High Strength (EHS) guy wire on antenna, communications, transmission, and other types of applications in guyed structures. Galvanized steel is manufactured with a left hand lay construction. For proper installation, big grip dead ends must have the same lay as the strands to which they are attached. When installed correctly, big grip dead ends should render the same strength as the corresponding EHS guy wires.
