Drop forged wire rope connectors are manufactured with rolled threads and a forged base. Base has Product Identification Code (PIC), the Crosby® name (or CG), and size for quick identification. Entire clamp is galvanized to resist corrosion and rust; a red U-bolt identifies it as a quality Crosby® product. Offers an efficiency rating of 90% (based on the catalog breaking strength of wire rope).
Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification, design factor, ductility, proof load and temperature requirements. Also meets other critical performance requirements not addressed by ASME B30.26, including material traceability, impact properties and fatigue.
