Merritt® truck tool box is manufactured in aluminum for lightweight durability. Mount the space-saving design to the underside of any semi-truck, trailer or flatbed truck for a convenient place to store chains, straps, tools, etc.
The single-door style is constructed with a lap joint weld to create material overlap at the corners which provides more strength than a traditional butt weld. An extruded door frame design features automotive grade seals and UHMV (ultra high molecular weight) plastic on the striker plate inside to create an excellent seal designed to keep items safe and protected. Cup latch is lockable and has an easy-open T-handle in a stainless steel. Sleek piano-style hinge and #8 grade smooth polished finish give this rugged box a sleek look. Smooth door tool boxes are shipped with a protective coating that can be easily removed during installation.
